Located in the heart of the historic Hudson Valley in Chatham, NY, Upstate Scenic Storage was created in response to a growing need for safe, long-term storage of theatrical sets, costumes, props, and other production materials. This storage solution ensures the longevity of your scenic elements after the final curtain falls.

The storage facility is housed in a former paper factory and provides individual 8’X24’X8’ and 7.5’X16’X8′ storage bays, covered loading dock, concrete floors, secured location, and temperature controlled storage minimizing humidity and dampness. Unloading/Loading of bays handled by our experienced staff with forklift services available. Storage bays are separated by stud walls with wire fencing and storage facility is kept secured at all times.

Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm.
For visits outside of business hours special arrangements can be made.

2025 Rates and Details

Bays are 8’W x 24’L x 8’H (the size of our standard box truck) & 7.5’W x 16’L x 8’H
Temp-controlled rate: $375 & $250 (+ tax) per bay, per month
Bay are accessible Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm
For visits outside of business hours special arrangements can be made
Forklift services are available at an additional cost

We do not offer discounts for non-profit status, multiple-month rentals or half-filled bays.

Unloading/loading fees may apply.
